Code of Conduct
Street cruising by it’s very nature is driving your favourite car on public roads and streets. Therefore to ensure that our events are safe and can be enjoyed by all, and that our activities do not upset or cause concern for participants and public alike, we will apply a code of conduct to all our activities.
In accordance with our motto:
Fun with family, friends and favourite cars
the team at Let’s Go Cruisin’ expect that when you decide to participate in an event, whether as an entrant or a spectator, you will conduct yourself as a responsible adult at all times. This includes complying with all state and municipal laws applicable to any road/street/venue/car park.
If you want to:
- exceed any speed limit
- bag up your tyres
- run open headers
- get intoxicated in public
- get aggressive or be abusive to others
then a Let’s Go Cruisin’ event is probably not for you!
All large scale events, such as Cruisin’ Main St. require the support of local police and local by laws officers. It is a fact of life that irresponsible behaviour by anyone driving a street cruiser whether they are an entrant in our event or not, will undermine our ability to organize cruises on public roads in the future.
As organizers, we therefore reserve the right to revoke your entry at any current or future event if your behaviour puts the wellbeing of any person at risk, or you if fail to comply with directions given by a Let’s Go Cruisin’ official.
Our objectives state:
- Let’s Go Cruisin’ wants to run no hassles events
- Let’s Go Cruisin’ wants the people, businesses, officials and police that make up the community we hold an event in, to look forward to us returning next year.
As a participant, you have a large influence on meeting these and thus allowing us to continue into the future, having fun with our favourite cars too.
