This event was established in December 2004 with simple intent of providing pre '75 chrome bumper era car owners based on the Mornington Peninsula and the South East suburbs of Melbourne with a low key, low cost and family friendly opportunity to get together. It has grown in popularity and we now regularly have 150+ cars cruisin' in. All pre '75 cars from the “chrome bumper era” are welcome whether stock, modified, rodded, chopped or slammed.
The venue provides off street parking for about 80 cars on asphalt and a further 200+ on grass.
Cars start arriving around 5:30pm and have pretty much headed home by around 9:00pm.
We have a professional caterer providing a great BBQ menu in the car park, soft drinks are available from the drinks stall, and the Peninsula Lounge operates a take-a-way bottle shop on the premises.
Moggy's Bar & Café - Moorooduc Coolstores
In addition to the food & beverage service available in the Peninsula Lounge, the new operators of Moggy's Bar & Café are now open every Cruise Night from 5:00pm to after 9:00pm.
They offer a range of meals, snacks, take away hot food as well as coffee & cakes. They have a full licence for beer & wine consumed on the premises. (Download their menu)
