Cruise Night - June 2009

The June cruise night fell on the 2nd which made it the second day of winter and that’s pretty much how it felt at the June Cruise Night. The night was cool, it threatened to rain and actually tried to get started a few times but it held off. Still, 75 entrants cars and a couple of hundred of hardy chrome bumper enthusiasts cruised in. You’ve got to respect people who drive hot rods and cobras topless in winter. Yes, we even had some that refuse to admit that summers actually over! With many of the Let’s Go Cruisin team at Wintersun as well as many of our regular entrants, it was back to basics but a warm coffee and something hot from the BBQ or the café it was still better than what was on offer on the tube at home.
Thanks to ACDelco and Buff n’ Stuff for the entrant’s prizes, we found some winners in the entrant’s gate raffle and the night wrapped up and another cruise night was done and dusted.  Here’s a few photos from Graeme to prove again winter cruisin can be fun. Certainly good practice for our Mid Winter Cruise coming up in a month’s time.
